We had such a fun week together last week!  On Wednesday, we took a trip to the Museum of Life and Science.  It was a gorgeous day, and we all had a great time.

(Thank you so much to Alanah's dad, Lily's dad, and Alexyz's mom for chaperoning our field trip.)

Our PTA hosted a Skate Night at Wheels, and I got to see Ty'Mir and Julian!  What a fun night!

We are learning about force and motion in science.  On Friday, we learned about Jackson Pollock with Mrs. Overby's class.  We talked about the motion he used to create his masterpieces, and then we worked together to create our own!

We applied as much force as we could on our outside art.

Inside, we didn't apply any force to our paint brushes.  Our two pieces of art turned out very differently!

Congratulations to our September showcase award recipients: Kenia (self-discipline, our character trait of the month), Erick (manatee manners), Naomi (math), Samantha (literacy), Liza (P.E.), and Rhys (P.E.).

I hope your weekend was great!
