In Social Studies, we have been learning about maps.  We used our knowledge of cardinal directions to create a pretend community map.  We made compass roses, and then we traveled north, south, east, or west and added different community places to our maps.  The kids really did a great job of using directions to travel on the maps!

Mrs. Shaw and Ms. Johnson invited Wool E. Bull to visit us at Club and talk with us about bullying.  German got to go to the front of the gym to help!

Friday was the 100th day of school!  We ate a 100-shaped breakfast, counted to 100, did 100th Day centers with Mrs. Overby's class, and 100 things for snack!

Congratulations to our January award winners: Noemi (math), Lily (manatee manners), Leonardo (perfect attendance), Eduardo (science), and Cali (literacy and perfect attendance).

Stay warm and safe during this winter weather!
